These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Good Company Labs LLC ("Good Company Labs," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the Remi service ("Remi," the "Service"). By using Remi, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the Service under the supervision and consent of a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Remi is a text-based companion powered by artificial intelligence. Remi is not a human being. Its messages are generated by software. Remi is designed to be a supportive, encouraging presence and to help you stay accountable to goals you set, but it is a consumer product for personal, non-commercial use, not a professional service.
Remi does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional or for professional care. Do not use Remi for emergencies.
You are solely responsible for your own actions, decisions, and well-being, and for any outcomes that result from your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any harm, self-inflicted injury, mental-health episode, or other adverse outcome arising from your use of, or reliance on, Remi.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately. In the United States, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or dial 911. Outside the U.S., contact your local emergency number.
Remi communicates by text message (iMessage or SMS). By messaging Remi, or by providing your phone number and starting the Service, you consent to receive text messages from us, including recurring automated messages such as the daily check-ins you agree to and occasional service messages.
Remi offers a paid subscription. The current price and plan are disclosed to you before you subscribe. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, follow the cancellation instructions provided to you, or contact us at billing@callmeremi.com, and we will help you cancel promptly. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period, and it does not renew after that. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
Remi's responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Remi may misunderstand you or state things that are not true. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions. Do not rely on Remi as your sole source of information, and always use your own judgment.
We and our licensors own the Service and all related intellectual property, including the Remi name, software, and content we provide. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal use, subject to these Terms.
Your content: you retain rights to the messages and content you send. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and transmit that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to provide it to you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
Remi can connect to your Google Calendar so that she can see what you have coming up and make changes when you ask. Connecting is optional and the Service works without it.
If you connect an account, you confirm you are entitled to grant that access, and you authorize Remi to view and edit events on your calendars on your behalf, including creating, moving, and cancelling them at your request. Remi acts on what she understands you to be asking for, and she can misunderstand, so you remain responsible for checking that your calendar says what you intend. Google is a third party and its own terms govern your Google Account.
You can disconnect at any time from the integrations tab of your account or from your Google Account's permissions page, which revokes our access immediately. How we handle calendar data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information, and is part of these Terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, ACCURATE, OR SECURE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOOD COMPANY LABS AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR TWENTY-FIVE U.S. DOLLARS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Good Company Labs from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or the rights of others.
Please contact us first at billing@callmeremi.com so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree that any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, and you and we waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking relief in small-claims court, or from seeking injunctive relief for intellectual-property misuse. Where arbitration or class-action waivers are not enforceable, disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, and we may terminate or suspend your access at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them. There are no third-party beneficiaries.
